Plants in Barbados

Plants: In Barbados, very little of the original vegetation remains. It was cleared to plant sugarcane fields.

Trees: 

The National Tree of Barbados is the Bearded Fig Tree, in which the country was named after in Portuguese.

Flamboyant- known for its roots and its flowers
